When i started this book i thought it was really boring and i didn't think that it would get any better but reading father into it, i think it gets better, i like that i can actually connect with some of it even though it from so long ago.
I hope it goes farther talking about Holden and Jane relationship because that seems like a very interesting subject :p

I agree with the part where you said you hope it goes more into the whole Jane and him thing. You can tell that something important happened.
ReplyDeleteThis is a common complaint with Catcher because it does not focus on a thrilling, suspenseful plot line. When one reads, they are supposed to connect to the character, and in turn, understand themselves on a deeper level.
ReplyDeleteI want you to work on getting more 'personal' in your blogging, Maddie. If you say you like the book because of the connections you can build, write about such connections.
I agree with thinking the book wouldn't be to good but also agree with ur comment because it was very close to mine about their relationship.
ReplyDeleteya i also hope they talk more about that realationship I think that Jane could help Holden get out of his slump and not be such a slacker. She could be a very interesting twist on the story but I just hope we get to actully meet her ...like read more about her in the book.
ReplyDeleteYeah, at first I think this book is going to be a book that worst than the book called Harry XXXXX or sometimes we called as XXXXX Potter. However, As soon As we move on he Ch 13, page 93. Things are getting better, which I finally start seriously and carefully read the book. THE Professional Stitute might be the second important symbol in the book, I supposed..
